This message occurs when an out-of-place restore of a LUN from dump fails because the source LUN is of a higher version than this Data ONTAP® release supports.
- Corrective Action

Restore creates a regular file at the destination path, with the same data as in the source LUN. To recover the source LUN's data from the dump, you can create a new and unmapped LUN from this file using the 'lun create -f' command.
