Description

This message occurs when a protocol requests a list of blades but one cannot be generated due to one or more references to a previous request or requests still outstanding.

Corrective Action

If this condition is not cleared by a subsequent free message within 30 minutes, a reboot of the node might be required. Rebooting the node with the "system node reboot -dump true" command saves a core dump that allows diagnosis of this issue by NetApp technical support. For more information or assistance, contact NetApp technical support.

Description

This message occurs when a request from the network module to the volume location database (VLDB) times out. The VLDB is used to identify the node that currently controls a volume. This might be a transient condition. If the condition persists, some volumes might be inaccessible.

Corrective Action

Contact NetApp technical support.
