To get started with ONTAP Mediator, you install the software and configure it to work with your ONTAP environment.

One Install ONTAP Mediator

Install ONTAP Mediator on your system and ensure that all required dependencies are met.

Two Verify the ONTAP Mediator installation

Verify that the ONTAP Mediator installation was successful by checking the service status and reviewing the logs for any errors or warnings.

Three Configure ONTAP Mediator for your ONTAP environment

Depending on whether you want to use ONTAP Mediator for MetroCluster IP, SnapMirror active sync, or both, follow the appropriate configuration steps to ensure that all necessary settings are correctly applied.
