Rename an existing network service policy
Availability: This command is available to cluster administrators at the advanced privilege level.
Description
The network interface service-policy rename
command assigns a new name to an existing service policy without disrupting the LIFs using the policy.
Parameters
-vserver <vserver name>
- Vserver (privilege: advanced)-
Use this parameter to specify the name of the Vserver of the service policy to be renamed.
-policy <text>
- Policy Name (privilege: advanced)-
Use this parameter to specify the name of the service policy to be renamed.
-new-name <text>
- New Service Policy Name (privilege: advanced)-
Use this parameter to specify the new name for the service policy.

The following example shows the renaming of a service policy.
