DELETE /protocols/san/fcp/services/{svm.uuid}

Introduced In: 9.6

Deletes an FC Protocol service. An FC Protocol service must be disabled before it can be deleted.

Platform Specifics

  • Unified ONTAP: POST and DELETE must be used to manage the FC Protocol service for access to the FC Protocol.

  • ASA.Next: POST and DELETE are not supported. The FC Protocol service is automatically created and deleted with the SVM.

  • vserver fcp delete

The Fibre Channel Protocol service cannot be removed while it is enabled.

There is no Fibre Channel Protocol service for the specified SVM.

Service POST and DELETE are not supported on ASA.next.
