You configure Cisco 9364D-GX2A switches as part of a new AFX 1K or AFX 2K system installation, a switch replacement, or a switch reset to factory default settings.

You might be directed to this workflow or to individual topics in this workflow as needed by your specific procedure for Install and set up a new AFX 1K or AFX 2K system, Replace a switch, or Reset a switch to factory default settings.

After you power on the switches, they begin to boot and enter the configuration wizard. You are prompted to provide answers to a series of questions to perform the initial (startup) configuration of the switches.

Review cabling and configuration requirements.

What's next?

  • If you configured your switch as part of a switch replacement or you reset the switch to factory default settings, your switch should be operating normally.
