The create snmpCommunity command creates a new Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) community, community name string and registers the new community as a known entity to the SNMP agent. Any attempt to register a new community with the same name as that of an existing community is rejected and the firmware returns an error message.
Supported Arrays
This command applies to an individual E4000, E2800, E5700, EF600, EF300, EF50, and EF80 storage arrays. It does not operate on E2700 or E5600 storage arrays.
Roles
To execute this command on an E4000, E2800, E5700, EF600, EF300, EF50, or EF80 storage array, you must have the Storage Admin or Support Admin role.
