Configure ONTAP SMB server options

You can configure SMB server options at any time after you have created a SMB server on a storage virtual machine (SVM).

Step

  1. Perform the desired action:

    If you want to configure SMB server options…​ Enter the command…​

    At admin-privilege level

    vserver cifs options modify -vserver vserver_name options

    At advanced-privilege level

    1. set -privilege advanced

    2. vserver cifs options modify -vserver vserver_name options

    3. set -privilege admin
