Pause ongoing controller replacement
Availability: This command is available to cluster administrators at the advanced privilege level.
Description
The system controller replace pause
command is used to pause a currently running replacement. The operation pauses at the next predefined update stage (for example, after finishing the current task it will pause the next restartable task) which might take some time to reach. When the update reaches the pause point, it transitions into the pause-on-request state.
Examples
The following example displays pause operation:
cluster1::> system controller replace pause A pause requested for Controller Replacement operation. The current task will continue and the next restartable task will be paused.
