The security key-manager prepare-to-downgrade
command disables the onboard key management features that are not supported in releases prior to ONTAP 9.1.0. The features that are disabled are onboard key management support for Metrocluster configurations and Volume Encryption (VE).
Examples
The following example disables the onboard key management support for Metrocluster configurations and Volume Encryption (VE):
