This message occurs when ONTAP® software fails to disable or enable the service-processor' (SP or BMC) watchdog timer. This might occur due to an intermittent SP or BMC firmware failure.
- Corrective Action

If the system continues to run normally, you can ignore this message. If a system disruption occurs after this failure, reboot the SP or BMC or power-cycle the system before starting ONTAP or performing a giveback. If system disruptions continue to occur, contact NetApp technical support for assistance.
